Songs like this are why she’s arguably the best current female R&B artist in the game. It’s a classic interpolation of a classic (if you know you know)!
(But if you don’t know here!)
Maeta – “Decimate”
Impressive.
Cuzzos – “Body”
I’m wholesome. But I’m fun. So occasionally I’ll post some profanity and debauchery like this if the track is actually pretty dope and catchy like this.
Anderson .Paak, Cordae – “A Good Day”
Another well-done sample of a classic.
bees & honey, Omah Lay, BEAM, Gyptian – “As We Get High”
Global.
Mez, UMI – “Platinum Fubu”
This is what I do this for: to help spotlight underrated gems like this.
SAHXL – “Rain”
Super super-smooth.
Max Dean, Luke Dean, Nafe Smallz – “Not A Problem”
I consider this a legit House banger, although it seems producers are going more in the direction of Techno bpms these days.
Shygirl – “Lucky[Hymn]”
I don’t know if it’s just me, but it seems like alternative styles of music are having a moment. Maybe I’m appreciating musicianship a little more with how generic and AI-like most commercial music is sounding these days. But I’ve always liked trip hop, so this was an easy listen for me.
Ferg – “Cycle”
I love this. An NYC hip hop/dance crossover. Kinda reminds me of some 90’s freestyle dance music (Rockell “In A Dream” anyone?). LOL. Fresh, fun, upbeat vibe, just what hip hop needs.
