I’m wholesome. But I’m fun. So occasionally I’ll post some profanity and debauchery like this if the track is actually pretty dope and catchy like this.
hip hop
Anderson .Paak, Cordae – “A Good Day”
Another well-done sample of a classic.
Ferg – “Cycle”
I love this. An NYC hip hop/dance crossover. Kinda reminds me of some 90’s freestyle dance music (Rockell “In A Dream” anyone?). LOL. Fresh, fun, upbeat vibe, just what hip hop needs.
E-40, Anderson .Paak, Al B. Sure! – “Night In The Bay”
Can’t go wrong with a “Nite and Day” sample!
Lil Baby – “Dead Fresh”
Never thought I’d hear Lil Baby on a beat by Pharrell. You have to give him credit for expanding his sound and continuing to put out top-tier hit music.
Aya Nakamura, La Rvfleuze – “Sexy Nana”
Trim – “Coconut Water”
It’s fun, vibrant, and pretty catchy. It’s my first time hearing her, but she seems different than most other female rappers. Refreshing. Nicki Minaj-esque.
Trap Dickey – “LA Nights”
Dope Weezer sample.
Feng – “J*b”
I like it. It’s different than every other melodic hip hop track out. Might not be a “hit,” but there’s definitely some creative quality here.
Don Toliver – “ATM”
Just yet another dope single from Don Toliver. Has his music ever disappointed?
